Car Maintenance Schedule - Regular Check-ups And Maintenance

For a proper and regular maintenance of a car, it is important to follow a car maintenance schedule provided by the car maker. The schedule contains essential information such as service intervals, engine oil change intervals, life period of oil and air filters, and many more. It is recommended to strictly follow the car maintenance schedule in order to keep the performance of your car up to the mark throughout its life-lime. Here are quarterly, half yearly and yearly car maintenance schedules.

1) Quarterly Schedule: – There are a number of things that are needed to be checked/ repaired/maintained in every three months. Below is a list of the checks that should be done on a quarterly basis. If you don’t drive your car very often than these checks should be done after every 8,000 km.

  • Checking Brake Fluid Level
  • Refilling Washer Fluid
  • Checking of Tyre Depth
  • Inspection of Brakes
  • Replacing Spark Plug
  • Replacing Windshield Wiper
  • Cleaning Battery
  • Replacing Fuel Filter
  • Replacing Brake Pads
  • Cleaning Radiator

Besides following this car maintenance schedule, one should also take the car to the company’s workshop for servicing, on a regular basis.
